All about Pete

all the things you really wanted to know

Well, usually on homepages, people write all about them selfs and just how cool they are. I decided that instead of putting that on my homepage, I'd make a whole page dedicated to it.

First of all I graduated in '95 from SUNY Fredonia with a major in Communications and a minor in Computer Science (what of the department there is). I was the Chief Engineer at the Campus TV station, WNYF, and the Webmaster and team head of the FSU WWW Project.

In case you counldn't tell, I really enjoyed college and did quite a lot. Unfortunately that's all over now; AIT stole our web site, WNYF if virtually dead (from what it used to be) and the Comm deptartment ...well, they're still the same.

"so pete, how exactly did you get into the web?"

Basically, I had been messing on the web for a bit durring the summer and learned a bit of html. A few weeks into the semester i went to the CS Admin and asked if I could put up a site. He encouraged me and had me pick a web team and see what we could do. I choose my team of Jon Steiger, Jake Smith, John Mackay and Andrew Barnaby. By the time we were done, we had blown the project way beyond what it was going to be. In fact compared to most colleges at the time it was one of the best web sites.

"So, beyond school and the school area, what sorts of things are you into Pete?"

Sports: Windsurfing, Skiing (downhill, not X-country), rollerblading, biking
Music: music is one of my passions, be it composing, playing, listening, etc.

I like sleeping :) ...don't get to do nearly as much of it as i would like
