This was actually a Halloween mixer that Lisa (my apt.mate) threw so
the details are gonna be slow coming. I do have a lot of pictures

I have no idea where to start. This was proably the best party I've ever
thrown. This year at New Years (Jan.1), I wasn't able to throw a party so
I decided to post-pone it a bit untill the 1st of March. This party started
officially at 5:00pm on friday afternoon. I really drank the first beer at
3:30pm and the last drink at 2:00pm on Sunday.... oddly enough I was the
first and last to drink... but, it was my party so. The first ones to
show up were Ben and Gabe. Ben brought vodka (of course) and Gabe brought
a few pizzas... everyone loved him for it too. We left Gabe at the house and
Ben and I left for a beer run. During the time that we were gone, Leslee
showed up I was told, I was kinda bummed that I missed her. So in anycase,
the keg of Killian's that I ordered never came in and we ended up buying the
last case at the shop. I'm not really sure what happened next, just that
Jenna didn't shove her tounge down anyone's throat at this point cuz she
wasn't there yet... not that she did when she got there either... OK, back
to the story. We picked up a bunch of beer and a bunch of liquer (i don't even
know 'er).
We got back to the house, Gabe had already cooked up
one of his pizzas so we had za to go with our beer and with that, the party
began. Jim showed up around 8:00, Aaron showed up about 6:30. I guess the
first notable event was our first brawl... not so much since we were beating
each other (this was common) but that i was wearing a kilt in true scots
form (this was less common).

Welcome to Carnage Weekend '97! It's Valentines Day weekend here in Cortland
and we don't have dates. As an alternative to the normal type of taking your
significant other to dinner and stuff I decided to throw at party that
brougt together the themes of testosterone, male bonding, killing and blood.
The only way we could legally pull this off was to throw a network gaming
party. This basically constisted of a network server and everyone bringing
their own computers from home to hook up. Once everything was set up, we
then pull up out favorite game and beat the hell outta each other: presto,
instant male bonding. Once again, Aaron showed up Thursday night and
proceeded to get trashed. Friday I had to work, but got home by like
6:30pm with Ricky, 4x12packs of Killians and all the Boones Pina Colatta
in stock at the local Tops Feindly Market. ...it's time to go home, I'll
finish this later I guess...

The Event:
Well, it was Friday (yesterday) and Aaron came to town. This is usually
an excuse for a party. We went to the store and bought 3 12s of
Killians Red (a true party beer) and many bottles of Boones Cheap Wine.
We then got Ben, got KFC, and got home. We started drinking lightly and
watching TV then Andy Marvin and Gabe showed up.... we really started
drinking then. I was drinking the Boones, Ben was drinking everything
Aaron was drinking beer, and Gabe... he was drinking beer too I think.
(hey, it was 12 hours ago!) O... and Andy Marvin was drinking green stuff
left over from last years new years party. At this point Ben went to do a
shot of the green shit Andy was drinking. Ben tossed the shot back, the
shot tossed Ben back. Very impressivly got it all right in the sink.
Thanks Ben. All this while Andy Marvin was getting his ass kicked in
NetMech... see, we've got 2 machines on a network here, it's cool. About
this time Andy L and Bill showed up. The house started to smell at this
point... we're not sure if it was because of Ben's issue or Bill's feet.
Oh... and for a while after Gabe showed up we listened to all the "war
stories" from Ben and Gabe. I'm not quite sure what was happening but
I guess a few people were entertained. I was just confused, they were
way too hyper. It got on later and this girl who knows Aaron showed up
(this is just something that happens) and she was wearing a dress that
didn't really cover her chest. It was kinda tacky.... Oh, that was
Laura. A little later Gabe decided he could play guitar (he can't), so
I set up on my drum kit and we jammed. Then Bill took over; he can play
guitar.... and Andy Landowski joined in on bass. It was cool, then it got
too late and we had to get quiet. Then Michelle showed up to see Aaron
and this pissed off Laura. Of course she jump on him so I guess none of
this was a surprise to anyone. A little later on we had a cool big battle
type thing. I must confess that I ruled the whole scene. It was cool.
It actually started out with Gabe beating on Aaron ("he's a big bully"
). He was wearing my new snowboarding boot so I got into it to protect
my boots. So there I was... kicking ass. Out of tradition I called for
an ice tray and we started throwing ice cubes and stuff. As I stated
before, I throw good parties.. I think it was about then that Barbara
called... she's my friend in Washington... the state, not D.C. By midnight,
everyone was pretty drunk. ...and consequently, everyone couldn't piloet
their mech's either... except me of course. Around 3:00am I kinda got crazy
with a dry erase marker... I tend to start drawing on people after I've been
drinking for 8 hours. Aaron got a large Mr. Pain on his chest and Ben got
that whole upside down face thing on his chin. I was actually quite impressed
with Ben's whole act, most of us were on the floor crying with laughter... a
lot of things seem funny at 3:30am tho. The party started winding down at
about 4:00am with the trial of drunkenness between myself and aaron, which
of course I was victorious in. I kicked his ass with an Elemental. People
started going to bed about 5:30am ....I got to sleep at like 6:00 myself.
Aaron also wanted me to point out that he and Michelle obeyed all the rules
(see rule #1)... oh and that he "kicked everyone's ass in the battle
royal".
Saturday: Nothing much happening as of 3:30pm... we're watching hockey and everyone else is having hangovers. I got up around 11:30 and cleaned up as much as I dared. I have no idea what's happening tonight.
It turned out that the party only lasted that one night. Saturday night we were all recovering and Sunday was just like a cleaning day.

Well, I had just gotten the house and it was like superbowl time.
Unfortunately this wasn't a well published party weekend so it didn't
end up as amazing as some. Friday night we went downtown. Satuday night
we stayed home and drank a lot. Sunday was drank A LOT!
Pete:"Were we drunk the sunday of the superbowl?"
Aaron:"You were butt wasted by the time I woke up at 2:00"
I must protest tho.... Pete VanDusen was wasted too. By the way, much
thanks to Pete's S.O. Jenn for letting him come play with us. We watched
Beavis and Butthead afterwards... huh huh... it sucked.
